Biography

A leading Estonian artist who has worked primarily in video since 1997. She studied classical music at a specialist secondary school and worked as a stage designer in youth theatre before going to Tallinn Art University to study painting. After graduating in 1990, she attended the Swedish Royal Academy of Arts for postgraduate studies in 1992. Her work has been exhibited widely, particularly in Europe at many video festivals. She has been awarded an ArtsLink Fellowship Grant and an Independent Projects Grant for residencies in the USA and several other international prizes and residencies.
