Synopsis
Once every 7 years the Music Academy of Latvia enrolled students for TV Directors course. The course tutor well known Latvian documentary filmmaker Ansis Epners asked the students among other tasks to make each one an etude (improvisation) on one of the Latvian symbols- Freedom monument – especially actual theme in the beginning of 90ies after Latvia had just regained its independence. The students used diverse video equipment; the technical possibilities were very limited at that time.
